The Annapurna Base Camp Trek offers an unforgettable trekking experience in the heart of the Annapurna region. This 14-day adventure takes you through diverse landscapes, from terraced fields and dense forests to remote villages and up to the base of some of the world’s tallest peaks. You'll be immersed in the natural beauty of the Annapurna Range while experiencing the rich cultural heritage of the local Gurung and Magar communities. 
 

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu +

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representatives will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your hotel. In the evening, you will meet your trek guide for a briefing session followed by a traditional Nepali welcome dinner.

Day 2: Full-Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu +

Explore Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Boudhanath Stupa. Your guide will provide valuable insights into Nepal’s rich history and culture. The day ends with a final trek briefing and equipment check.

Day 3: Flight to Pokhara, Drive to Nayapul, and Trek to Thikhedhunga +

Take an early morning flight to Pokhara and drive to Nayapul. Begin your trek through charming villages and lush landscapes to reach Thikhedhunga.

Day 4: Trek to Ghorepani +

Start your trek with a steep climb through rhododendron forests and pass through the Magar village of Ulleri before reaching Ghorepani, offering breathtaking views of the Annapurna range.
 

Day 5: Hike to Poon Hill for Sunrise and Trek to Tadapani +

Begin the day early with a hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) to witness one of the most magnificent sunrises over the Himalayas. After breakfast, trek to Tadapani through dense forests of pine and rhododendron.
 

Day 6: Trek to Chhomrong +

Descend through forests and cross suspension bridges to reach Chhomrong, a traditional Gurung village offering stunning views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre.

Day 7: Trek to Dovan +

Follow the stone steps and trails through rhododendron and bamboo forests to reach Dovan, a peaceful stop surrounded by lush nature.
 

Day 8: Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp +

Continue your journey to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m), where you are surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks.

Day 9: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp +

A short but rewarding trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m), where you can enjoy panoramic views of Annapurna, Hiunchuli, and other peaks. Explore the base camp area and absorb the awe-inspiring mountain scenery.

Day 10: Trek to Bamboo +

Begin your descent from Annapurna Base Camp back to Bamboo, passing through serene forests and villages along the way.

Day 11: Trek to Jhinu Danda (Hot Springs) +

Trek through Sinuwa and descend to Jhinu Danda, where you can relax in the natural hot springs.
 

Day 12: Trek to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara +

Descend further to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara. In the evening, explore the lively Lakeside area or relax by the beautiful Phewa Lake.
 

Day 13: Drive Back to Kathmandu +

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu through scenic landscapes. Rest of the day is free to explore the markets or visit cultural sites in the city.

Day 14: Departure +

You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight. We hope you had an amazing time with us and hope to see you again!
