The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a mesmerizing journey around the world’s eighth-highest peak, Mt. Manaslu (8,163m), offering a unique blend of rich cultural heritage, challenging trails, and incredible natural beauty. This trek takes you through lush forests, river valleys, traditional Tibetan villages, and the breathtaking high-altitude pass of Larkya La. 

Explore the less-traveled and secluded trails in the Manaslu region, a conservation area home to wildlife, including snow leopards and Himalayan tahr, and ancient monasteries nestled in the mountain ranges. Perfect for experienced trekkers seeking adventure in a remote and tranquil environment.
 

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu +

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing on the trekking itinerary.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu +

Explore UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Boudhanath. Prepare for the trek in the evening.
 

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (700m) +

A scenic drive through the countryside, passing terraced fields, rivers, and small villages. Overnight in Soti Khola.

Day 4: Trek to Machha Khola (869m) +

Trek through forested areas and along the Budhi Gandaki River. The trail undulates with occasional steep climbs and descents. Overnight at Machha Khola.
 

Day 5: Trek to Jagat (1,340m) +

Continue along the river, crossing suspension bridges, passing waterfalls, and lush hillsides. Reach Jagat, an entry checkpoint for the Manaslu Conservation Area.
 

Day 6: Trek to Deng (1,860m) +

A mix of steep and gentle trails. Pass through small settlements, terraced fields, and forested hillsides. Overnight in Deng.
 

Day 7: Trek to Namrung (2,630m) +

The trail climbs steeply towards Namrung, offering stunning views of Siringi Himal and glimpses of Mount Manaslu as you ascend.
 

Day 8: Trek to Lho Gaon (3,180m) +

Walk through alpine forests and cross several suspension bridges. The trek offers stunning views of Mount Manaslu. Overnight in Lho Gaon, a picturesque village with ancient monasteries.

Day 9: Trek to Samagaon (3,520m) +

Today’s trek will bring you to Samagaon, a large Tibetan village, where you’ll enjoy close-up views of Manaslu. Visit Pungyen Monastery or explore the local yak pastures.
 

Day 10: Acclimatization Day in Samagaon +

A rest day to acclimatize. Explore the village or hike to Manaslu Base Camp for stunning views.

Day 11: Trek to Samdo (3,875m) +

An easy and scenic trek with views of the mountains. Samdo is a Tibetan village close to the border between Nepal and Tibet.

Day 12: Trek to Dharmashala (4,460m) +

Gradual ascent through barren landscapes and rocky paths. Reach Dharmashala, the last stop before crossing the Larkya La Pass.
 

Day 13: Cross Larkya La Pass (5,160m) and descend to Bimthang (3,720m) +

A challenging day as you ascend to the top of Larkya La Pass, which offers breathtaking panoramic views. Descend to Bimthang, where you can rest after a tough day.
 

Day 14: Trek to Tilije (2,300m) +

The trail descends gradually, passing through lush forests and across several bridges. Enjoy views of the Himalayas as you trek to Tilije.
 

Day 15: Trek to Dharapani and drive to Besisahar +

A short trek to Dharapani, followed by a drive to Besisahar. Rest and enjoy your final evening in the mountains.

Day 16: Drive to Kathmandu +

Return to Kathmandu via a scenic drive. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner and share your trekking experiences.

Day 17: Departure +

Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
